Overnight transatlantic flight. |

| Day 2 : IZMIR |
Arrival in Izmir. Meet your tour guide and transfer to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time a short orientation in the city by bus. Dinner & overnight. (D) |

| Day 3 : IZMIR - PAMUKKALE |
This morning visit the Church of St.Policarp of Smryna. Continue driving to Akhisar and visit the basilica of Thyatira. Drive to Sardis and visit the well preserved Roman Gymnasium and the Synagogue. After lunch continue to Pamukkale via ancient Philadelphia and visit the ruins of the basilica dedicated to St. John. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale. (B,D) |

| Day 4 : PAMUKKALE - KUSADASI |
This morning visit the dazzling travertine formations of Pamukkale known as cotton fortress and see the ruins of ancient Hierapolis. Drive to Laodecia and visit the excavation site. Continue driving to Kusadası along the meander valley. Dinner and overnight. (B,D) |

| Day 5 : KUSADASI |
After breakfast drive to Ephesus and visit the ruins of ancient Hellenistic and Roman site. Continue to the House of Mother Mary where she is believed to have spent her last days. Visit also the remnants of the Basilica of St. John. See also an interesting presantation on the hand made Turkish carpets and leather goods. Rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight. | Day 6 : KUSADASI - CANAKKALE |
Early departure for Pergamum. Visit the impressive ruins of the Acropolis and see the remnants of Red Basilica. After lunch continue driving along the Agean Sea to the ancient Troy. See the wooden horse and the excavation site. Dinner and overnight. (B,D) |

| Day 7 : CANAKKALE - ISTANBUL |
Long driving day along the southern shores of Marmara Sea from Troas to Bthynia. En route visit Nicea and see the ruins of city walls and St. Sophia. Enjoy the ferry ride to the eastern outskirts of İstanbul. Dinner and overnight. (B, D) |

Day 8 : ISTANBUL |
Full day tour in the old city including Topkapi Palace (excluding harem), Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. Enjoy the cruise on the famous Bosphorus.
